ProspecPlus turns 10 years old in 2010
In Canada, while 50 % of businesses disappear after five years (Sources: Canadian Government reporton the industry, February 2010), ProspecPlus celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2010. Ten years of dedicated service to its clients, providing building engineering solutions. What's our secret? The resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, Claude Guertin.

Claude GUERTIN, General Director of ProspecPlus, has traveled an atypical route. In the 1980’s, he began as a cabinetmaker and carpenter. His growing ambition led him to further his education as he graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1998. His first ventures after graduating were as construction project manager for one of the largest Canadian companies: Nexacor / SNC Lavalin, where he was in charge of large scope customer accounts such as Bell Canada. Furthermore, with his managerial aspirations in full throttle and alongside his professional activities with Nexacor / SNC Lavalin, he developed his own activity. In 2000, he created ProspecPlus, a building engineering and expertise consulting company. Thanks to his perseverance, his business grew up and became prosperous. Today, the value of his work and rigour are widely recognized. In addition to the building inspections and expertises that are part of his daily tasks, this young business leader is routinely called to testify in court as an expert witness in disputes related to building envelope issues and structural engineering. To ensure a conscientious work ethic, he has been recognized as member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), of Ordre des Technologues Professionnels du Québec (OTPQ) as well as the Quebec Association of Building Inspectors (AIBQ).
Exponential development
With its growing activity, ProspecPlus has enriched both its technical and human resources. “My company can only function properly if I have the best elements to work with. In 2005, structural engineering projects are added to the list of service offered.
